  1. Thanks for your comments on my post about my mother’s heart attack and surgery. She is still in the hospital, and has to have fluid drained out of her lungs daily because her heart attack caused damage. and her heart function is low. I have a bad feeling she will not make it, but since her surgery was only last Monday, on repairing a valve, maybe I am being too pessimistic. The surgery itself was successful… but She has lost a lot of weight since the heart attack in mid-June, and her appetite hasn’t been good. Thanks for listening and for your wonderful blog on the heart.
